What guests usually want to know before they book. The amounts, times and numbers below come from our own records and change along with them.
Booking and payment
Am I booking directly with the owners?
Yes. You pick your dates, fill in your details and pay on this site. There's no platform in between, so no service fee is added.
What does a night cost?
From €98 a night. What you pay depends on the house and on the season; as soon as you pick your dates the total is on screen.
What's included in the amount I see?
The rent and the final cleaning, added together. Nothing is added at checkout.
How much is the final cleaning?
€70 per stay. It's already in the total you see with your dates.
When do I pay?
In 3 instalments: part when you book, the rest in the run-up to your arrival. The full breakdown is on the terms page.
Can I cancel?
Free cancellation up to 10 days before arrival. The deposit is not refunded.
Are pets allowed at Spring Cottage?
No, we don't allow pets at Spring Cottage.
Is a security deposit required?
No security deposit is required.
Can an extra guest be added beyond the maximum number of people, for example an extra child on a sofa bed?
It's not possible to add extra guests beyond the maximum number of people allowed for the property, not even on a sofa bed. A cot can be booked separately though (see the question about cots).
Can I check in earlier or check out later than the fixed times?
Early check-in or late check-out is sometimes possible, depending on the departure and arrival times of other guests around your stay. This is discussed and arranged directly with you; there's no fixed fee for this.
Is smoking allowed in the house?
Smoking is not allowed inside the houses. You're welcome to smoke on the terrace. This applies to all five houses.
Are parties or events allowed, and are there any quiet hours?
Parties and events are not allowed in the houses. After 23:00 no loud music may be played.
The houses
What's the minimum number of nights?
It depends on the period: between 2 and 5 nights. When you pick your dates you'll see what applies to that period.
How many of us can come?
The house sleeps 6. The page for the house lists how many bedrooms and bathrooms it has.
Is there wifi?
Yes, the house has internet.
Is there parking available at the property?
You park on the driveway right by the house.
Is there a pool?
No, Spring Cottage doesn't have a pool.
Are bed linen and towels included?
Yes, bed linen and towels are included with every property.
Is there a cot or high chair available?
No, we don't have a cot or high chair for Spring Cottage.
Does Spring Cottage have central heating in addition to the fireplace?
Yes, Spring Cottage has central heating as well as the open fireplace.
Is mid-stay cleaning possible for a longer stay?
Yes, that's possible, no matter how long you're staying. We charge €25 per hour, with a minimum of three hours. Just let us know what works for you, and we'll arrange it.
Is the house accessible for guests who aren't very steady on their feet?
Spring Cottage is single-storey and step-free, so it's also easy to manage if you're not very steady on your feet.
Arrival and departure
What time can I check in and out?
Check-in from 16:00, check-out by 10:00. That's local time at the house.
Do I have to send details before arrival?
Before you arrive you get a check-in link where you fill in who's coming; a photo of your passport fills in the fields for you. No report to any authority is involved. There's nothing left to do on arrival.
